Shadowrocket Official App Store Download

  • Developer: Shadow Launch Technology Limited
  • App ID: 932747118
  • $2.99 one-time purchase; see the App Store listing for current details
  • Universal app for iPhone and iPad

Shadowrocket is a paid app available only on the App Store, with a one-time purchase. Check the storefront and verify the official listing before buying with your Apple ID. If you've already purchased it, check your purchased items first.

Store region and app availability

Shadowrocket isn't available in the mainland China App Store. If you can't find it, first check which storefront your account is using instead of repeatedly changing the app name. The country or region linked to your Apple ID determines the available store content. Your device language, keyboard, time zone, and physical location don't determine your App Store account's country or region.

The button on this page opens Shadowrocket's App Store product page. The availability shown on your device may depend on the storefront for the account currently signed in. Seeing the listing in a browser doesn't guarantee that you can buy it from your current storefront. Check the App Store for current availability, currency, and payment terms.

Check your account's storefront

  1. Open Settings on your device and tap the Apple ID account entry at the top.
  2. Go to Media & Purchases and choose View Account. Complete any authentication steps if prompted.
  3. Find Country/Region to check the storefront linked to your account. If you need to change it, the official option is in this section.
  4. Return to the App Store, confirm which account you're using for purchases, then check the product page for availability and price.

Changing your country or region involves more than changing a display setting. Your account balance, active subscriptions, Family Sharing status, and payment information may affect the process. Follow the requirements shown in your account. Whether the change succeeds and when it takes effect depend on Apple's prompts. Don't switch accounts or storefronts repeatedly just to change search results before checking your purchase history.

If the account at the top of Settings differs from the one under Media & Purchases, make a note of the account actually used for the App Store transaction. You'll need the original purchasing account to restore the app on another device. See the App Store download guide for more details. This page doesn't provide accounts or handle region changes.

Verify the official app: developer, icon, and app ID

Verify the App Store listing

A name, similar-looking icon, or description in search results isn't enough to identify the app. Open the product page and check the developer name, official icon, and app ID together. If you find an app with a similar name or a counterfeit listing, don't proceed with payment based on the name Shadowrocket alone.

  1. Check the developer name. On the product page, find Shadow Launch Technology Limited in the developer or provider details. Check the full spelling, not just part of the name.
  2. Check the official icon. The icon is a rocket outlined in blue and purple on a white background, matching the official icon shown here. The icon is only one of the three checks; verify the developer and app ID as well, even if another icon looks similar.
  3. Check the app ID. The app ID is 932747118, shown in the product page URL as id932747118. Make sure you're viewing the app's product page, not just a search result with similar wording.

The two images on the right are official English interface screenshots uploaded to the App Store by the developer. Home shows the connection controls and server list; Add Server shows the server fields. The screenshots help identify the interface. They don't mean server details are included after installation, and the layout may vary by device. Refer to the app on your device for the current interface.

Before paying, also review the product page's compatibility and purchase information. App updates are managed through the App Store. If you're unsure about a search result, use the main button on this page to open the same product listing and check each detail. Don't decide based on a similar name or a single screenshot.

Get started on iPhone

Open the App Store product page on your iPhone. Check device compatibility, confirm the price, and follow the system purchase flow. Refer to the listing for system requirements; this page can't guarantee compatibility with a particular device. If you've already purchased the app, first check whether the Apple ID currently in use is the one used for the original purchase.

After opening the app, use Home to check the connection status and existing servers. Buying the app grants use of the client; you'll still need your own subscription or server details. To enter details manually, use Add Server and fill in the fields from your server information. Don't guess the address, port, or authentication details based on a screenshot.

When you first try to connect, the system may ask you to add a VPN configuration. This is an authorization step that lets the app use the system's network connection features, not an additional purchase. Confirm the prompt comes from the Shadowrocket app you just installed and verified, then follow the system instructions. If you're not ready to connect, read the setup guide and review the configuration before authorizing.

Authorization doesn't mean the connection is ready to use. Return to Home, select the correct server, check Global Routing, and review the connection status. See the setup guide for the full sequence. If something goes wrong, note the system prompt and interface labels to help distinguish purchase, configuration, and connection issues.

iPad and other Apple devices

Shadowrocket is a universal app for iPhone and iPad. After buying it once with an Apple ID, you can redownload it from the App Store's purchased items on a compatible iPad. Check the App Store listing for system requirements and purchase availability. If the listing still shows a price, check the purchasing account and transaction history before paying again.

The larger iPad screen may change list widths, spacing, or navigation layout compared with iPhone. Look for interface labels such as Home, Config, and Settings rather than locating controls by their distance from the screen edge in a screenshot. The same principles apply to system authorization and checking server details before connecting.

A purchase record doesn't mean your configuration will automatically appear on another device. After installation, check whether your existing configuration is available. If you need to import it, use your saved subscription or server details. Then check the server list and Config before choosing a Global Routing mode, so you don't mistake a missing configuration for a failed purchase.

The compatibility section of the same App Store listing also includes Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Check the product listing in the App Store on the device you plan to use. Refer to the listing for details on universal purchases and system requirements. Don't treat iPhone and iPad layouts as step-by-step instructions for other devices.

Switching devices or reinstalling: restore from purchased items

Shadowrocket is a one-time purchase. When you get a new iPhone, use it on an iPad, or reinstall the app after deleting it, sign in to the App Store with the Apple ID used for the original purchase and find the app in your purchase history. If eligible for purchase restoration, you can download it again at no additional cost. The current storefront must offer the app, and the device must be compatible.

  1. Open the App Store, tap your account profile, and check the Apple ID currently used for purchases.
  2. Go to Purchased. The account page label may vary slightly between system versions. Look for the app purchase list, or open your purchase history if needed.
  3. Search for Shadowrocket in the list, open the purchased app entry, and download it again as prompted.
  4. After opening the app, check whether your subscription, server details, and Config are available. If anything is missing, import it again from the information you've saved.

If a price appears, check your purchase history first

A price on the product page doesn't necessarily mean the one-time purchase is no longer valid. First confirm that you're using the Apple ID from the original purchase, then check whether the transaction was completed and whether the current storefront matches the original purchase. The primary account signed in on your device may differ from the Media & Purchases account, so the name at the top of Settings alone doesn't confirm which account owns the purchase.

If you can't find the original purchase history, follow the App Store prompts to check your account and purchase records. Don't treat the in-app server list, subscription expiration date, or connection status as proof of the client purchase. Those indicate configuration or service status, not an App Store transaction.

Check app restoration and configuration restoration separately

Redownloading restores the client, but doesn't guarantee that all local configurations will be restored too. Before switching devices, keep your configuration information safe, especially subscription links and authentication details. On the new device, import only information you already have and have verified. If the connection fails, check the configuration and service status instead of buying the app again.

Check the App Store listing and your current Family Sharing and purchase-sharing settings to see whether family sharing applies. Whether a family member can see a purchase depends on what their account page shows. This doesn't guarantee that every account, region, or device can use the same purchase.

Price, one-time purchase, and what it covers

The US App Store price for Shadowrocket is $2.99 as a one-time purchase; check the listing for current details. Other storefronts display local currency. Before buying, use your App Store checkout page to confirm the amount, currency, and purchasing account. The price in one storefront isn't a direct estimate of the final amount in every region.

A one-time purchase covers the client and doesn't involve a monthly client usage fee. Once purchased, you don't need to buy it again to reopen the app. To switch devices or reinstall, follow the purchased items process. Updates are provided through the App Store; check the listing for update details. Automatic updates are controlled in your device's App Store settings.

The client and your existing service have separate statuses. Your App Store purchase history confirms your app entitlement; subscription validity and server connectivity depend on your existing service and configuration. If the app is installed but the list is empty, start by importing your configuration. If the list is populated but the connection fails, check the address, authentication, network, and rules. The issue doesn't mean you need to buy the client again.

After checking the details on this page, continue with the initial setup and connection steps to import your configuration, set Global Routing, and test the connection in order. For troubleshooting, see Troubleshooting and note the exact error message. Don't share your full subscription link, password, or other authentication details when describing the issue to someone else.
